CR3D Terms of Service
1. Agreeing to these Terms
By creating an account or using CR3D you agree to these Terms, to our Privacy Policy and to the Community Rules in section 6. If you do not agree, do not use CR3D. If we change these Terms, we will post the new version here with a new version and date and, for material changes, also tell you in the app or by email.
2. Who may use CR3D
- You must be at least 13 years old. We ask for your birthday at sign-up and do not create accounts for people under 13.
- If you are under 18 you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware you are using CR3D and that you will use it as these Terms and the Community Rules allow. Your profile starts private and can't be set to public while you are under 18.
- You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone.
3. What CR3D is, and what it is not
CR3D helps you set up pickup games and leagues, keep score, track stats and standings, chat with other players and join communities. CR3D does not own, run, supervise or insure any field, court, course or venue, and it does not employ referees or coaches. Games and leagues are organised by players (“organisers”, including league commissioners). CR3D is a software platform; it is not a party to what happens between players in person.
4. Playing sports carries risk
Sports involve a risk of injury, illness, disability, property loss and, in rare cases, death. You decide for yourself whether to play, you are responsible for your own health and equipment, and you play at your own risk. Always follow the rules and instructions at the venue.
5. Organisers and leagues
- Organisers and commissioners are responsible for their games and leagues: venues, safety, local rules, insurance where appropriate, fees they collect, and refunds they agree to. CR3D does not guarantee any game or league will take place.
- If an organiser charges a fee outside CR3D, that is between you and the organiser.
- CR3D does not run prizes, pools or payouts. If that changes, these Terms will change first.
6. Community Rules: no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on CR3D. You must not post or send content, or behave in a way that is:
- threatening, harassing, bullying, hateful or discriminatory, or that targets a person for who they are;
- sexual or sexually explicit, or that exploits or endangers a minor (we report child sexual abuse material to the authorities);
- violent, or that encourages self-harm;
- spam, scams, impersonation, or an attempt to get around a ban or a block;
- illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- sharing another person's private information (including their location or meeting them in a way that puts them at risk).
Friendly competitive banter and trash talk about the game are welcome; abuse is not.
How we enforce
- Report. You can report a player from their profile, and report games and community messages where you see them in the app. If something you want to report has no report option, report the player from their profile or email support@cr3d.org.
- Block. You can block a player.
- Review and action. We review reports and act on content or conduct that breaks these Terms or the Community Rules. Action may include removing content and suspending or ending the account responsible.
- Copyright. If you believe something on CR3D infringes your copyright, email support@cr3d.org with the details and where it appears.
- Appeals. If you think we got it wrong, contact us (section 14).
7. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You give CR3D a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and process it as needed to run and improve CR3D, including through the service providers that host and deliver it for us, and including showing it to the people you share it with. You promise you have the right to post it. We may remove content that breaks these Terms. When you delete your account the licence ends, except for content that stays visible to other players as described in the Privacy Policy (for example your messages in other people's direct, group and community chats, shown as “Deleted Player”, and games and scores you took part in).
8. CR3D Pro and purchases
CR3D Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription bought through Apple. Price, billing period and any free trial are shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple account; it renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; you manage and cancel it in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. Deleting your CR3D account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your Apple account settings. CR3DITS are earned by playing and cannot be bought or cashed out.
9. Meeting in person
CR3D connects people who may meet to play. Use judgement: meet in public venues, tell someone where you are going, and do not share private information. We do not run background checks and cannot vouch for any player.
10. Acceptable use
Do not: attack, scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the service; bypass security, age checks, bans or rate limits; create accounts by automated means; use CR3D to harm anyone; or use it for anything unlawful.
11. Suspension and ending your account
You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete Account). Your account is hidden at once and the deletion is completed after 30 days; signing in within that time cancels it. We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms or the Community Rules, with or without notice where needed to protect others.
12. Disclaimers and limits
CR3D is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that scores or stats are accurate, or that any game or league will happen. To the fullest extent the law allows, CR3D is not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for what happens between players or at venues. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they may not apply to you.
